A tenant-owner may sublet his apartment to another person for independent use only if the board gives its written consent. Common valid reasons are cohabitation test or studying/working in another location. Certificates will be requested.

Please note that unauthorized subletting constitutes grounds for forfeiture, meaning the member may be forced to sell their apartment if correction is not made following a warning.

The rules may seem strict, but they exist in part to ensure that the housing association's apartments remain homes for the members and do not become objects for speculation.

Fee
